System Notes:
The non RoHS compliant Sun Fire T2000 server uses a 550 Watt power supply and uses 1 of the 2 PCI-X slots for the SAS controller. The Sun Fire T2000 (post July 2006) server uses a 450 Watt power supply and support for the SAS controller is on the I/O board.
3 Infiniband Host Channel Adapter includes no cables, so cable option 9280 or 9281 should be ordered with card. 4 Option X6099A (IPsec enabler CD) is required to enable the adapter's support for IPsec acceleration
5 Requires either SR X5558A or LR X5560A-Z XFP Transceiver. 6 Standard bracket 370-7665 is installed. Low-profile bracket 370-7792 is included. Order Option 4455A for factory integration.
NOTE: DIMMS must be installed in sets of 8.
Two basic memory configurations are supported: 8-DIMM or 16-DIMM. All DIMMs must have identical capacity. An 8 DIMM configuration fully populates Rank 0 slots.
8 An electronic copy of the chassis serial number is located in a CPROM at U20.
Use the ALOM setcsn command to set the chassis serial number after replacing the PDB and powering on the system.
The Sun Fire T2000 Server Service Manual describes the required service commands.
9 Use the OBP 'activate_volume' command to activate an inactive RAID
volume when replacing the SAS controller. Requires 1064_FCode firmware revision 1.00.39. Refer to BugID 15309646 [SUNBT6378605} and patch id 122165. 10 370-7696 is factory installed in Slot PCI-X 0 and controls internal disk drives.
