Emergency Power Off true
Left Door Open true
Left Service Mode Switch true
Right Door Open true
Right Service Mode Switch true

No HBN LED is lit.
No Drive or Rail power supplies in the device tree from SLConsole
No robots in the device tree from SLConsole
No CAP or elevators in the device tree from SLConsole

Purpose

How to determine if the HBN Card is defective in the SL8500.

Troubleshooting Steps

From the CLI (command line interface) session while being connected to the library, issue the following command:

SL8500> safetyInterlock status

A normal return status would look like the following:

Attributes Barrier Door Left Closed false
Barrier Door Right Closed false

Barrier Door Switch Fault false

Doors have been opened false

Emergency Power Off false

Front Door Switch Fault false

Interlock Battery Low false

Left Door Open false

Left Ok To Open Led off

Left Service Mode Switch false

Left Wait To Open Led off

Library Active Led on

Library Service Request Led off

Right Door Open false

Right Ok To Open Led off

Right Service Mode Switch false

Right Wait To Open Led off

Robotics Disabled false

Service Mode Switch Fault false

Object

Done

Failure Count 0

Success Count 1

COMPLETED

Since the HBN monitors the safety interlock status of all the door switches and EPO (Emergency Power Off) key switch positions to engage the SSD (Service Safety Door), this would be an important step in troubleshooting missing 48VDC to the rail and drive power supplies
