Applies to:SPARC T4-1SPARC T4-1B SPARC T4-2 SPARC T4-4 SPARC T3-1 SPARC PurposeTroubleshoot a problem where the ILOM NET MGT port is either non responsive or connection is lost. Troubleshooting StepsA system can see symptoms of being unable to access Host ILOM at times. and at other times able to access and use the ILOM via ssh. 1) Run a snapshot 2) Check snapshot file "@sbin@ifconfig_-a.out" which can be found in the "spos_info" directory then under the "net" directory: EthUsb0 UP xxx.xx.xxx.xxx RX Pkts: 693 errors: 0 TX Pkts: 604 errors: 0 note also that IP address yyy.yy.yyy.yy is that of the ILOM NET MGT port 3) Check auto negotiation setting on the corresponding switch port.
