Purpose
Diagnose T10000C Rackmount Fan Problems and how to acquire replacement fan.
Troubleshooting Steps
The Cooling Fan Assembly installed in T10000C Drive unit may make noise.
Note - These fans are NOT part of the power supply. (For PS Fan issues, replace Power Supply.) It is a separate assembly mounted outside of the drive brick with in the tray.
If you suspect the Cooling Fan Assembly is noisy or not functioning do the following to isolate the problem
1. Open the Drive Tray & check if any cables are hitting fan blade.
2. For a noisy fan problem disconnected the Cooling Fan Assembly plug momentarily to check if noise goes
away.
