Troubleshooting Steps
PROBLEM OVERVIEW: CAP Door Problem, CAP Targeting Issue
WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? : LSM must be off line.
WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE:
1. Push on cap door to make sure it is fully closed
2. Issue a release command per ACS Operators Guide PN 9206.
3. If problem persists:
A. Check array target quality and re-paint as necessary.
B. Check all CAP adjustments per Maintenance Manual PN99607 and adjust as necessary per
Maintenance Manual PN 99607.
C. Check operation CAP door solenoid per 9310/4410 Maintenance Manual PN99607 and replace as
necessary.
CONFIRM THE FIX BY Verifying LSM is back online and verify operation by performing enter and ejects.
WHAT ACTION DOES THE CUSTOMER NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE:
