Purpose

This document refers the data needs to collect for a hanging OVM for SPARC(LDOM) Domain .


Symptoms

- LDOM Guest Domain Not responding / Hanging
- Diagnosing LDOM Systems hang

Troubleshooting Steps

Please validate that each troubleshooting step below is true for your environment. The steps will provide instructions or a link to a document, for validating the step and taking corrective action as necessary. The steps are ordered in the most appropriate sequence to isolate the issue and identify the proper resolution. Please do not skip a step.

Step :1 Force a crash dump on the hung domain.

Follow the 1020884.1 to Collect the forced crash dump of a hanging Guest Domain


Step :2 Collect LDoms configurations data.

Once the crash dump is collected please follow 1020212.1 to collect LDOM related logs


Step :3 Collect Explorer output

Once the domain is booted up from the crash dump process, collect an Explorer output.

After the data is collected please contact Oracle Support for a review of the data.
