PreviouslyPublishedAs 209521 In order to provide you the most accurate fix, please validate that each statement under the symptoms below is true for your environment. These symptoms will hyperlink you into a relevant content that will 1) tell you how to validate the listed symptom and 2) how to fix the symptom if it is true for your environment. The listed symptoms are ordered in the most appropriate sequence to isolate the issue and be certain about the related fix. Please do not skip a step. Applies to:Sun Storage 3120 SCSI Array - Version Not Applicable and laterSun Storage 3310 Array - Version Not Applicable and later Sun Storage 3320 SCSI Array - Version Not Applicable and later All Platforms PurposeThis document will assist in troubleshooting (and documenting) the complex cabling schemes associated with the Sun Storage 3000 arrays. The primary use of this doc is two fold:
A variety of symptoms can occur which may warrant a verification of cabling. Some of the observed anomalies include.
Here are some of the more typical errors observed in /var/adm/messages (parsed data) [ID 107833 kern.warning] WARNING:/pci@1c,600000/scsi@2,1 (glm1):

Use this document to verify a correct cabling scheme for the array. If cabling is correct, then continue with <Document 1011431.1>.
To verify the correct cables are being used.
