Customer reported major platform failure at Oracle Eagle STP.

Solution

FAILURE:: MAJOR::3000000000000800 -- Server Sync Network Error

following is the description for the Alarm observed above.

• 3000000000000800-Server Sync Network Error
This alarm indicates that the eth03 connection between the two servers is not functioning properly.
The eth03 connection provides a network path over which the servers synchronize data with one
another. The eth03 interface is the 2nd from the bottom ethernet port on the rear of the server.
Note: The sync interface uses eth03 and goes through switch B. All pairs are required.

hence the Alarm observed will be cleared when the ETH03 port between the two EPAP servers are connected through Switch B.
but currently on Site Switch B is found faulty

After Switch B replacement the Alarm got Cleared.
