Failure to ADHERE to this document WILL result in delays to Customer problem resolution. The minimum firmware for the drives for all of the storage systems involved is AK 8.7.4 The firmware for these storage units are upgraded manually, not with the overall product SW update.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Some 8TB disk parts have been EOLd , NEW alternate parts have been provided:8TB Aries 7301592 is EOLd, new alternate part is 8TB Libre 7334977
8TB Aries 7301588 is EOLd, new alternate part is 8TB Libre 7337414
Updating your software to the recommended version code will help to expedite part replacements. See Table below.
