Goal
How to clear Alarm ID 5011 - System or platform error prohibiting operation
Solution
In order to resolve this fault, please restart the application by doing the following actions on the Active NOAM:
1) Login to the Active NOAM GUI.
2) Select Main Menu: Status & Manage > Server. The Server Status page appears.
3) Select the IPFE that is currently exhibiting the alarm, per the Active Alarms.
4) Select Restart.
A warning message appears: Are you sure you want to restart application software on the following server(s)?
5) Select OK to continue.
6) Lastly, go to Main Menu: Alarms & Events -> View Active to verify that the alarm has cleared.
