Goal

sysalarm screen keeps showing old alarms

Solution

Connect to the system and performed following steps:

1.Select the alarm/s which needs to be terminated (Note: All selected alarms must be in Opened alarm state)

2. Click the Terminate Alarm icon in the Menu Bar. A pop-up dialog is displayed, giving you the option to add a comment for that alarm. On the next Refresh cycle, the alarm status is changed to terminated in the list (If the alarm has not been acknowledged, the system acknowledges the alarm first.)

Note : If the Comments dialog is not displayed, check Display preferences in the Menu Bar to ensure the Auto Comments Popup is set to true.
