Solution 2378967.1 : EAGLE : Getting DB_DIFF Alarm On SCCP DSM Cards - UAM 444

Goal

Getting DB_DIFF alarm on SCCP cards after DSM port configuration update to 1000 MBPS_BSNL Kolkata. So for every site need to reboot SCCP cards twice to clear the alarm.

Solution

Since you are doing the Activity of EPAP ports on EAGLE Service Module(SM) cards should be set to AUTO to support 1Gbps EPAP-to-Eagle RTDB download speed as per KM 2275062.1.

The Reason of getting DB_DIFF is due to the huge RTDB level difference between SCCP Cards and EPAP Servers , as we can see the provisioning is keep on going, which is causing RTDB level difference between the SCCP cards and EPAP Servers..

The only way to recover from this is to reboot the SCCP cards again,.

Before starting the activity you can request customer to stop the provisioning if its possible, in that way you don't need to do the reboot twice.
