How to bring up a standby MASP showing version status of 255-255-255 in rept-stat-card:appl=oam output

Solution

Standby MASP down

When we check the status, the version for standby MASP was showing as 255-255-255 this indicate that the card's switches were not locked or locked but not properly.

Resolution
========

The following steps should be performed to resolve the issue.

step1. inhibit the standby MASP

step2: unseat the standby MASP

step3: wait for 30 seconds

step4. insert it back carefully

step5. make sure that sw-1, sw-2 and sw-3 are locked properly

The standby MASP came up and we have done a db repair to correct the db level,
