Solution Type Technical Instruction Sure Solution 2375329.1 : EAGLE : M2PA/M3UA Latency For International Sigtran Connection
In this Document
Created from <SR 3-16823191011> Applies to:Oracle Communications EAGLE (Software) - Version EAGLE 44.x and laterTekelec GoalIs There an Acceptable M2PA/M3UA Latency For International SIGTRAN Connection. SolutionWe have no parameters to define or configure network latency as it varies with customer networks. Based on experiences in the field, Oracle has deviated from some RFC-recommended timer settings, especially those related to re-transmission, to better accommodate signaling networks. Oracle makes both settings available through configuring an association to use either the Linear (LIN) or the exponential (RFC) method. For more information about both modes and the timer settings, see SCTP Timers. Attachments This solution has no attachment |
