Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

 How to Restore SL24 and SL48 Library Factory Default settings.

 Which will help customer to clear all present configuration on library.

Solution

 Preform below steps to  "Restore Factory Default" Settings.

 Note: Before performing factory Default settings, take current configuration backup just in case it is needed to restore current configuration if required.

         Follow below steps to take current configuration backup and it will take you through  "Restore Factory Default" Settings.

 Steps to Follow     

1. Logon to Library Web GUI as admin.
2. Select ----->>configuration ----->> Save/Restore
3. Under Save/restore Configuration ---->> Save Configuration to file ---->> click on save ----->>OK (Say OK to 'are you sure' message) ------->> Save (present configuration file will be saved to your system Default Download location)

After saving present configuration file, follow step 4 to "Restore Factory Default" Settings.

4. Select ----->>configuration ----->> Save/Restore.
5. Under Configuration Reset ------>> Select 'Restore Factory Default' ----->> click on Restore ------>> OK (Say OK to 'are you sure' message) ----->> it will take some time (10 minutes approx ) and then library will reboot, at this stage you lose the WEB GUI access.
6. Once factory default setting is done, you need to Enter IP Address ,Subnetmask, other network settings manually from the front operator panel and Admin password. Save the settings and it will restart the Library.

7. After manually entering the IP and other details, you can again access library Web GUI. Once you login to the Web GUI all other settings can be entered manually or you can restore configuration from the file you saved previously.

8 . To restore configuration --->> log into Web GUI ---->> Select ----->>configuration ----->> Save/Restore.
9. Under Save/restore Configuration --->> Restore Configuration from File ------>> Browse and give the file (location where you saved the old configuration) and then click on --->> Restore ----> OK (Say Ok to 'are you sure' message) --->> this will restore all configuration as it was before.
