In this Document
Created from <SR 3-17049016901> Applies to:PDIT Single Rack ZFS Storage ZS4-4 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases]Oracle ZFS Storage ZS3-4 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases] Oracle ZFS Storage ZS5-4 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases] Oracle ZFS Storage ZS4-4 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases] Oracle ZFS Storage ZS3-2 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases] 7000 Appliance OS (Fishworks) GoalA potential reason why disk firmware upgrades are not progressing is that a number of drives are in the process of resilvering and therefore the partner disk in a mirrored vdev will not be offlined for the firmware to be applied.
This can be checked from the BUI - pool is degraded (or from the shell by Oracle TSC).
SolutionWait until the disks have finished the re-silver - then the disk firmware updates will complete.
