Goal

A potential reason why disk firmware upgrades are not progressing is that a number of drives are in the process of resilvering and therefore the partner disk in a mirrored vdev will not be offlined for the firmware to be applied.

 

This can be checked from the BUI  - pool is degraded  (or from the shell by Oracle TSC).

 

Solution

Wait until the disks have finished the re-silver  - then the disk firmware updates will complete.
