Next Level Troubleshooting

=================

The below procedure is non-impacting but advised be followed in Maintenance Window.

Following are the part-numbers for which this procedure was executed:

Control Shelf Backplane Part Number :- 850-0330-07 REV A

Fuse and Alarm Panel Part Number :- 870-2320-03 REV C

Theoretical Information:-

The Rack Alarm Connectors (RALM) controls the alarm condition indicators on each control or extension frame fuse and alarm panel.

J13, J15, J32, J46, J61, J68 on Control Shelf backplane 850-0330-06/07.

In our case as the control shelf backplane part number is 850-0330-07 REV A, the details of RALM ports on the control shelf backplane is as below,

· J13 - RALM0 (CF00)

· J15 - RALM1 (EF00)

· J32 - RALM2 (EF01)

· J46 - RALM3 (EF02)

· J61 - RALM4 (EF03)

· J68 - RALM5 (EF04)

The System has only one frame that is the Control Frame (CF00), but  getting fake fuse alarm for Extension Frame 41XX (EF02)

***5210.0082 ** FUSE PANEL 41xx Alarm in Fuse Panel**

The overall idea is to make the system understand that there is NO frame EF02 (4th frame) in the system.

Please follow the below procedure carefully to clear the fake fuse alarm.

* Unplug the cable from port J-13
* Plug IN the cable which was removed from J-13 to J-46.
* Wait for 10 minutes
* Un plug the cable from J-46 and Plug In back to its original location J-13
* Check for the alarm in the STP.

Note:- Make sure the cable is securely connected.
