Ethernet interface on the Oracle Switch ES1-24 is stuck or shows not connected due to repeated link resets. Oracle Switch ES1-24 SEFOS Environment is hung and needs a reboot when ILOM is accessible. GoalHow to Reboot Oracle Switch ES1-24? SolutionCAUTION: Before performing any reboot or power-cycle of Oracle Switch ES1-24 it is advised to take a back up of the switch configuration. From Oracle Switch ES1-24 ILOM: How do I restart/reboot SEFOS? -> stop /SYS/sefos -> start /SYS/sefos -> show /SP/clock/ uptime
How do I reset the SP? -> reset /SP Broadcast message from root (Day Month Date Time Year): The system is going down for reboot NOW! Note: Above command resets both ILOM and SP.
How do I reset the SYS? -> reset /SYS Broadcast message from root (Sat Mar 10 06:37:23 2018): The system is going down for reboot NOW! Note: Performing hard reset on /SYS will take some time for the /SYS to establish network connection back. (2-3mins)
