Applies to:

Oracle Communications EAGLE (Software) - Version LSMS 13.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

How does the 13.3 LSMS handle the two sets of NPAC keys required for the key exchange testing and for the transition from NeuStar to iConectiv?

Can we perform key exchanges with iConectiv from an LSMS 13.2 platform or do we have to upgrade to 13.3 first?

Solution

As a general statement, the key behavior and utilities have not changed in LSMS 13.3. Also, guidance on testing requirements or parameters should be addressed to iconectiv. Here are the answers to your questions.

How does the 13.3 LSMS handle the two sets of NPAC keys required for the key exchange testing and for the transition from NeuStar to iConectiv? All LSMS release can handle multiple key list, however, switching from one NPAC to another does not automatically invoke the correct key list. It must be done manually using the utilities on the LSMS.

Can we perform key exchanges with iConectiv from an LSMS 13.2 platform or do we have to upgrade to 13.3 first? Yes, unless iconectiv says otherwise.
