 How to Reset iLO for any HP Server


Solution


 iLO for any HP Server can be reset by either Command Line Interface (CLI) or Graphical User Interface (GUI).


How to Reset via CLI :


Connect to the iLO of Server using command line and run : reset map1




</>hpiLO-> reset map1


status=0
status_tag=COMMAND COMPLETED

Resetting iLO.


CLI session stopped




It will reset the iLO, you can verify the same from iLO GUI , You will be seeing the below message under :


iLO GUI => Information => iLO Event Log




How to Reset via GUI :




Login to iLO GUI of Server


Go to Information => Diagnostics


Reset iLO




 
It will reset the iLO, you can verify the same from iLO GUI, You will be seeing the below message under :


iLO GUI => Information => iLO Event Log
