SLConsole Version 6.65 or higher
SL3000 Firmware version 4.40 or higher
SL8500 Firmware version 8.60 or higher

Goal

How to save or restore the library configuration files.

Solution

Open up a remote session of SLConsole (you must be at SLConsole version 6.65 or greater) and the SL3000 must be at firmware version 4.40 or above. The SL8500 must be at firmware version 8.60 or above.

- Under the Tools tab, select Diagnostics with the Library:1,0,0,0,0 selected on the left side.

- Select the TransferFiles tab.

- Click on the Configuration Files radial button.

- Click the Transfer to your computer button.

- Select a file destination location on your laptop.

To restore the library configuration files, click on the "Transfer to the library and restore button", and select the file from the PC.
