Solution

BDA does not require the IPMI over LAN feature to be enabled.

1. To disable it from the server you want to disable the feature on ssh into the ILOM and login as 'root' user.

2. Then follow the steps below:

# cd /SP/services
/SP/services
-> show

/SP/services
Targets:
http
https
ipmi
kvms
servicetag
snmp
ssh
sso
wsman

Properties:

Commands:
cd
show

-> show ipmi

/SP/services/ipmi
Targets:

Properties:
servicestate = enabled

Commands:
cd
set
show

-> set ipmi servicestate=disabled
Set 'servicestate' to 'disabled'
-> show ipmi

/SP/services/ipmi
Targets:

Properties:
servicestate = disabled

Commands:
cd
set
show

3. One disabled running any IPMI style command against the ILOM will no longer work.
