Goal

Showing wrong utilization in E5-MS Reporting tool while extracting the Report.

Solution

This is as per design. The links with lower reserved TPS will still be carrying more than the reserved TPS traffic and hence in calculation you can see more than 100% utilization.

Example:

Look in the "Link Utilization with Threshold Report.xls"

Two similar links can have nearly similar maximum TX_RX values but one can be very less utilized (lets say 33%) while other can show a utilization of more than 100% (lets say 110%).

By checking the reserved TPS value for both links, for one it will be higher (lets say 600) and for other it will be lower (lets say 200). So you have configured a reserved TPS of 200 for a link but you are carrying much more than reserved value. Hence a higher than 100% link utilization.

This helps you identify the links whose TPS value should either be increased OR you should have more links towards that destination.

Hence this is not an issue.
