Goal

While installing a E5-MS server, when introduce the license ERROR CODE 503 is presented as seen below:
 

Press 1 to provide the User Name and License File path
  2 to Exit
Choose an Option :: 1
 
Enter User Name : OCEEMS USER
 
Enter The License File path : /root/E5MS/LicenseFile.xml
ERROR CODE : 503
Enter a proper OCEEMS license file

Solution

Resolve this issue in following order:

  1. Check if the license file has correct per permissions:

    ls -al /root/E5MS/LicenseFile.xml

    Usually it is assigned permissions to user root only and from OCEEMS release 46.3  can also use a non-root user.
  2. Change the xml file name to simple name e.g. license46-3.xml
  3. Request a new license file.
