Goal

Is it necessary to run @apex_epg_config.sql for the APEX which is installed on Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) server by default?
 

Solution

Running the script @apex_epg_config.sql is a requirement for any system running APEX with the database XDB HTTP Server / Embedded PLSQL Gateway (EPG) including ODA.
