Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

 Collecting a log snapshot for the Local Operator Panel.

Solution

Initiate a remote session of SLConole via a desktop or laptop PC and log in via Admin, Service or Remote.

1. Under Tools select Diagnostic,

2. Select the Transfer File tab.

3. Click on the Selected Device pull down and check the Operator Panel button.

4. Click on the Generate Log Snapshot On Library button. You will get a pop up stating that Creating a log snapshot may take up to 35 minutes. Do you wish to continue?

5. Click the Yes button.

6. When the log snapshot has been created successfully, you will get the pop up stating that the log snapshot file has been generated.  Click OK.

7. Click on the Transfer Log Snapshot To Your Computer button.  A Save pop up window will appear.  Save the file on your PC. Do not try to rename the file as it will auto-populate the correct file extension while saving.

8. Attach the Operator Panel Log snapshot to the Service Request.
