Goal

After Upgrade to DSR 8.0.1 there is a new Signaling Firewall for the DA-MPs in SOAM GUI Main Menu: Diameter -> Maintenance -> Signaling Firewall.

If the site cannot enable the firewall there is below mentionned alarm. How to disable the alarm?

Solution

Refer to Procedure 39 on following document to enable firewall post upgrade. This will clear the alarm:

Alarm cannot be cleared without enabling the signalling firewall. Customer can ignore this alarm if signalling firewall is not enabled.

Refer to document CGBU_018537 DSR Diameter Signalling Firewall:

R834837_MTCE_ALM_0010: When the firewall is administratively Disabled, a MINOR alarm 25607 shall be raised. The alarm shall be cleared when firewall gets Enabled.
