Solution

DISPATCH INSTRUCTIONS
- WHAT SKILLS DOES THE FIELD ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR NEED?: Familiar with the SL4000 Library.
- TIME ESTIMATE: 30 minutes
- TASK COMPLEXITY: 2

FIELD ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR INSTRUCTIONS:
- PROBLEM OVERVIEW: The Web Camera Assembly has been determined defective and requires replacement
- WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY?: Take the library offline to the system.

Note: Refer to the SL4000 Install and Service Manual for additional details as needed.

Web Camera Replacement

Removal
1.Take the library offline.
2. Open the front door of the Base or Drive Module with the faulty camera.
3. Loosen the thumb screw under the camera mounting plate.
4. Disconnect the Ethernet cable at the back of the camera.

Replacement
1. Reverse the removal procedures.

OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE
- WHAT ACTION DOES THE FIELD ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE?: Verify the camera and library initialize correctly and bring library online.
