Removal
You can hot-swap the video card. Removing this card makes the library degraded, but does not effect library operations.
1. Verify the video card is offline. In the GUI, go to Hardware. In the Device Status Tree, locate Video() in the base module and verify the Control State is "Offline". If it is online, right click the video card, go to Control State, and then click Go Offline.
2. Physically locate the video card (see "Base Card Cage Component Locations" onpage 4-11).
3. Pinch and pull the release levers. Remove the card (see "Removing a Quick Release Component" on page 4-9).

Replacement
1. Slide the new card into place and lock the release levers (see "Installing a Quick Release Component" on page 4-10).
2. Connect a monitor to the VGA port of the card. Push the SELECT button to toggle the display. If the display is currently at the front touch screen, the initial press will toggle it to the VGA port and subsequent presses will cycle through the controllers.
3. Confirm the video card is functioning.

OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE
- WHAT ACTION DOES THE FIELD ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE?: Verify the LOV Video Card is functional to the library.
