Goal

 The Goal of this Document is to Reset the PMAC users "pmacadmin" and "pmacop" Password to default,if the password is Locked/Forgotten/Expired

Solution

For "pmacadmin" and "pmacop" Password Reset

        1.Login to PMAC from Command line as "admusr"

        2.Go to # cd /usr/TKLC/smac/sbin

        3.#./fixGUIusers --reset

        4.Login to PMAC GUI with pmacadmin or pmacop user and Enter there default Password.

for EG.

login as: admusr

admusr@10.75.XXX.XXX's password:
Last login: Sat Oct 14 00:02:24 2017 from 10.191.XXX.XX
[admusr@pmac~]$ sudo su -

[root@pmac ~]# cd /usr/TKLC/smac/sbin
[root@pmac sbin]# ./fixGUIusers --reset
mysqld (pid 7915) is running...
Resetting passwords for PMAC GUI users: guiadmin, pmacop, guest...
mysql: [Warning] Using a password on the command line interface can be insecure.
mysql: [Warning] Using a password on the command line interface can be insecure.
mysql: [Warning] Using a password on the command line interface can be insecure.
mysql: [Warning] Using a password on the command line interface can be insecure.

 

Notes:

This procedure does not provide the default password, you should already possess this information to restore execute procedure. If the default password is not known, you should consult Oracle Support.
