Our original cable was:7100274 SAS 3m 2x1 we need this cable which is the equivalent of
external x4 mini-SAS HD connectors SFF-8088 (two heads)

AND

The other end of the cable needs to fit to the SL150
7106737: 1x1, 3 M mini SASHDtomini SAS cable

Total Length should be 6.6FT

Goal

Need Part Number for SAS3 to SAS2 Fanout Cable, 2x1.

Solution

There is a Marketing P/N that the customer can order. There is not a FRU/CRU P/N so we can not send them one.

The customer will have to work with Sales to order this cable.

Part Number is 7111455.

The SL150 Ordering Guide says it’s for connecting to SAS-3 HBAs, and can connect two drives to one port.

The following part number can be ordered for existing systems only:

7111455: 1x2, 5 M mini SAS HD to mini SAS cable

This cable supports a 12 Gb/s transfer rate, and it must be used when the tape drive is connected to a SAS-3 HBA. Two LTO tape drives can be connected to one SAS-3 HBA with this cable.
