Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) - Version DSR 7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Goal of this article is to clear Event ID 32332 – HP Smart Array controller problem when syscheck on the server indicates "Controller in slot:0 Battery/Capacitor Status Recharging."

Solution

This is occasionally observed on HP based hardware, but is often just a reporting issue from the HP firmware.

To clear this condition, reboot the server in a maintenance window.

If a standard reboot fails to resolve the condition, re-seat the blade (or trip the E-Fuse through the c7000 Onboard Administrator) and allow full reboot.

To trip E-Fuse:

  1. ssh to OA
  2. on cli of OA run:
    a) show server names               (Note the server in question and the corresponding bay no.)
    b) reset server <bay no. of server>      (bay no. of server obtained from previous command)

Failing that, the hardware should be replaced.
