FIELD ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR INSTRUCTIONS:
- PROBLEM OVERVIEW: 1200W DC power supply has been determined defective and requires replacement
- WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY?: This part can be hot swapped.
- WHAT ACTION DOES THE FIELD ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR NEED TO TAKE?:

1200W DC Power Supply Replacement
The 1200W DC power supplies are used for drive and robotics power. These can be hot swapped as long as there are enough other power supplies to provide sufficient power. The library does not perform any management of tape drives based on installed power supplies. The actual load depends on the drives installed and their activity.

Removal
1.  Push Retention tab and pull latch.

2. Side out power supply with pull latch in open position

Replacement

1. Slide in power supply with latch in open position.

2. Push latch to lock.

OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE
- WHAT ACTION DOES THE FIELD ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR NEED TO TAKE TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE?: Verify the power supply is functional to the library.
