Goal
How to resolve high CPU usage on SOAM servers caused by cmsoapa process.
Solution
- Restart the cmsoapa process by performing the following on the SOAM:
pm.kill cmsoapa
- Verify that cmsoapa successfully exits by using command below:
pm.getprocs
- If process does not exit after 2 minutes, do the following to restart cmsoapa process:
pm.kill -9 cmsoapa
