Is there some restriction for this configuration?

Goal

Customer is planning to install an IBM z14.
Using T10000B and T10000D, direct Ficon attached and over VSM.
Are there any pre-conditions that have to be fullfilled?
Drives have these Microcodes installed:
T10000b -1.52.206-5.30
T10000d- 4.12.106-5.60

Solution

There are no prerequisites known for T10000D FICON tape drives in order to attach to IBM Z/OS 14.
T10000D FICON direct attach are in general Z/OS compatible.
However, should any problem arise, tape drive engineering will work on this to address any issue!
