Goal

 Instructions to reset HBT card via button.

Solution

Note: Tape activity on LTO drives should be stopped prior to doing the reset as this can cause the drives to reset and unload.

1) Open the rear door of SL8500 and to locate HBT card in ECM.

2) Locate the Button in HBT card. See the picture below:

3) With a pen press the switch for 3 seconds and release. The reset will start.
