Goal


Confirm Downtime for E5MS for upgrade from 45 to 46.3.


Solution


Refer to Install Upgrade Guide for E5MS 46.3: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E78335_01/doc.463/E78337_rev_3.pdf


Refer to Page 35: The time required for upgrade is between 60 minutes to 180 minutes depending upon the size of E5MS database.


Upgrade to release 46.3 is supported from releases 46.0/46.0.1 and 46.2 (Reference: page 35 Inter-release upgrade).
