Goal

Change the maximum MTU Size for SCTP connection.

Solution

There is no configurable option to change the MTU Size for a single SCTP Connection.

The procedure provided sets MTU size on the Signaling bond interface and will effect all SCTP connections on the MP.

  1. Connect on the MP
  2. Go in platcfg menu:
    sudo su - platcfg
  3. Choose "Network Configuration" => "Network Interfaces" => "Edit an Interface"
  4. Select Interface to Edit
  5. On the Top of the Screen, select EDIT
  6. Page 1 [Click OK] > Page 2 [Click OK ] > Page 3 will display the option to change MTU.
  7. Now Navigate from the pages using option Exit.
