Applies to:

Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) - Version DSR 3.0 to DSR 7.1.2 [Release DSR 3.0 to DSR 7.0]
Tekelec
Permissions for /var/TKLC/db/filemgmt/export does not allow the admuser access to scp files

Goal

To be able to access the directory /var/TKLC/db/filemgmt/export as admusr to scp files.

Solution

The admusr needs to be in the awftp group. Perform the following steps as root user. This should be done during maintenance window because of the "init".

  1. Add group to admusr:
    /usr/sbin/usermod -a -G awftp admusr
  2. Reboot:
    init 6

References

<BUG:25832930> - PASSWORD CHANGE REQUEST FOR USERS LIKE AWADMIN
<BUG:25513740> - USER ADMUSR CAN NOT SCP CONFIG FILES FROM /FILEMGMT/EXPORT WHEN GROUP=AWFTP
