SolutionTo allow for booting the Option ROM needs to be enabled in I/O menu in BIOS: Checking BIOS menu: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E56388_01/html/E56396/gnvlw.html#XOSSMgnthd BIOS -> Menu I/O -> Add In card -> select PCI slot > select Enabled. Save the change and the card can be now selected in the BIOS Menu list.
