Applies to:

Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) - Version DSR 7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Unable to add or edit IP routes on several servers at a site.

Solution

Everything else seem to be ok at the site including the existence of the audit file on the servers (i.e., TKLCinitcfg file in /var/TKLC/appw). However on further investigation it was determined that the networks were locked for the site hence edits and additions for those networks were not allow by design.

To unlock the network user would need to go to NOAM GUI Main Menu: Configuration -> Network select the network to be unlocked and click the unlock button at the bottom of the screen.
Addition and changes were allowed after unlocking the network.

There is always an inherent risk involved when changing networks. It is recommended that unlocks and changes to the network be done in a maintenance window.
