Goal

Precaution to be taken while taking the Manual Backup using command "/usr/TKLC/appworks/sbin/full_backup"

Solution

While Executing the below command, we can see there is issue in Execution.

[root@ admusr]# /usr/TKLC/appworks/sbin/full_backup
Error: Execution failed, command = idb.backup -vv -j -o /var/TKLC/db/filemgmt/tmp_Backup.DSR.vfmp01.FullDBParts.MP.20161020_112012.UPG.tar.bz2 -x AppworksSeculog.0000 AppEventLog.0001 AppworksSNMPlog.0000 AppworksSessionlog.0001 AppEventLog.0000 AppworksSessionlog.0000 AppworksSNMPlog.0001 AppworksNonBkup AppworksSeculog.0001 UpLogRestore > /dev/null 2>&1

To Solve the above Problem,Following are things to be checked,

df -kh , Check here /var partition should not be greater that 75 %
Here /sbin , will not be included in the echo $PATH

To Resolve this, following should be done, while switching the user, it should be changed using hyphen sign "-" that is sudo su -
