Is it Possible to Add one more 10 GbE Network Card to Exalytics T5-8 Server?

Solution

No, it is not recommended to add an additional 10 GbE Network card to Exalytics T5-8 Server. This is not recommended in order to keep the PCIE Slots empty on the sever to avoid Excess heat generation from the Server. Adding an Additional card to the server, the desired performance of the server may be lost which also may lead to Unexpected Hardware failures

However, it is possible to add one more 10 GbE card by replacing the InfiniBand card, which requires PM team approval.

This is confirmed by T5-8 Dev team.
