Goal
How to Clear ECC Correctable Memory Error On DSR servers.
Solution
If a reseat was not done please do so as the next step. This has been shown to clear ECC correctable Memory Error on c-Class blades:
- To reseat the blade you can do it locally (i.e., physically remove the blade from the enclosure and reinsert)
Or
- Remotely via the OA:
- Login to OA
- Run "show server names"
- Note the bay number in the previous output for the server in question.
- Run "reset server "
This causes all power to be momentarily removed from the server.
Then the server will boot back up.
