Goal

The statistics from the Stats File Generator Task are different than the statistic that you get when you export in CSV format from the GUI based Trending Reports

Solution

The issue is a time skew between the outputs of the Stats File Generator Task, and the exported CSV files from the GUI based Trending Reports.

The Stats File Generator scheduled task produces its statistics referenced to GMT (Z). When you export CSV files from the Trending Reports of the GUI, you get a statistics file that has its timestamp in Local Time relative to the CMP.

The system does not provide a way to specify the Timezone to be used for either report.
