Applies to:

Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) - Version DSR 6.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Can the SCCP Address Indicator for ITU-N (ITU-National) connections be set to '0' (International) in the MD-IWF configuration?

Solution

No, there is no capability provided to change the CxPA Address Indicator value in the DSR MD-IWF configuration.

The DSR sets the value according to destination network type. If ITU-N or ANSI, the CxPA Address Indicator will be set to 1, and if ITU-I it will be set to 0.
