Observing Config Mismatch error fori PCRF in CMP

Solution

ISSUE:
Observing config mismatch on MPE clusters

ROOTCAUSE:
Engineering looked at the tomcat logs and found the issue to be in one of policy tables. One of the column's configuration in this table had Matching Operation named Equivalent, changed it to Equivalence, re-applied the config and it was successful for both MPE clusters. Engineering has checked all known versions of PCRF SW, and none had matching operation called “Equivalent”. Therefore customer should have manually altered the exported policy text, or had a text editor conducting auto spelling/grammar check and correction within the policy text previously exported. Once such erroneous policy XML got imported into CMP, reapplying configuration would finally fail at MPE side.

WORKAROUND:
NA

FIX:
Once the mistake from Equivalent to Equivalence was corrected, re-apply config was successful.
