Goal

After IMF hardware swap the VIP address is not reachable from NSP server, this is preventing the apply changes from working and the new IMF servers are not processing traffic.

Solution

This issue is caused by the Cisco switches: the arp table of the switches are not able to update the mac address linked to the VIP address, so the packets sent to the VIP are not properly routed by the switch.

To fix the problem it is recommended to reboot the Cisco switch connected to the customer uplink (usually the yellow one)
