Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Customer wanted to know how to display newly installed drives through ACSLS.

Solution

For ACSLS to recognize the new drives, you should run the 'config drives command'.
For example, if the drive IDs of the replaced drives are 1,2,1,0 1,2,1,4 and 1,2,1,10,
you would run: 'config drives 1,2,1'

'config drives 1,2,1' would update the drive information for all drives in drive panel 1,2,1.

If drives were moved around, say from panel 1,3,1 to panel 1,2,1, you will need to run
'config drives 1,3,1' and 'config drives 1,2,1'.
