GoalSL8500 - Serial cable replacement - This is a reminder of procedure to replace a broken CLI cable. SolutionCable P/N 24100134 is no longer available. However, the adapter “DB-9f to RJ45f” part number 10410823 is still available. This adapter with a standard RJ45 cable works well and is compatible with the diagnostic cable 24100134. Remember, that for most routine CLI access, you can also use a network port (2B, 2A, 1A) and an SSH putty session to the appropriate address to access the CLI. Just login to the network prompt the same way you login to a serial CLI session. When connected via the SLConsole, you can just open a putty session to the same address and have both sessions running via the network. Attachments This solution has no attachment |
